The non-linear story of a couple as they head through marriage, breakups, babies and life’s other complications.
Annie – in her early to late 20’s, an attractive job hopper who can rarely commit to anything but a bad relationship. She is confident on the outside but a bit of a mess in reality.
Jonathan – in his early 30’s, he is a professional that has found success as an entrepreneur in an odd nook of business. He is an attractive, nerdy, loveable, driven person who only quits when it comes to bad relationships.
Beth – in her late 20’s, she is the quirky best friend who is always hopeful for love. She may be quirky in life but she keeps Annie grounded, and is always open to the possibility of love.
Dr. Turner– in his early 30’s, completes the love triangle. He is the handsome college jock type that poses a threat to the relationship of the main couple. He does have a sensitive side.
Mike – is in his early 30’s, he is Jon’s best friend that is a super nerd and loner, but he tries to put up a cool guy front.
Mark – in his mid to late 30’s, he is a very macho, swanky, worldly man who sweeps Beth off her feet. He is very charming, but non-committal.
Abby – in her early to late 20’s, she is a pretty awkward girl on the outside, but completely confident with herself. She is very funny, and blunt.
Workout Guy – Very hunky, tan, 23-37. He’s a personal trainer/ infomercial type. There is a lot of room to play with character here.

Food Network Girl – She is anywhere from her 30’s– 60’s. She is very bubbly and southern.
