LOGLINE:

A short film written by Valerie Lighthart about a couple slowly drifting apart from one another but who have trouble letting go. Emotions run high and tense as their failing relationship finally comes to a boiling point in a small motel room on Christmas Eve. Loosely inspired by Edgar Allen Poe’s “A Telltale Heart” and Panic! At the Disco’s “Ms. Jackson”, award-winning filmmaker Michael Viers (“From the Darkness Theatre” & “Love You Still”) sets out to turn this story in to a slick neo-noir thriller.

CASTING THESE ROLES:

VINCE – Mid 20s, clean-cut and has the ability to charm. Once an incredibly happy individual, he has now turned cold.

BRENDA – Early 20s, fresh-faced and hopeful. She’s dedicated to working through her problems with Vince.

JOHN – Late teens, stoner-like appearance with shaggy hair.

DARCY – Early 20s, immature-looking and flirtatious.

POLICE OFFICER #1 – Late 40s/early 50s close to retirement with an aged, tired demeanor.

POLICE OFFICER #2 – Late 20s and optimistic.
