LOGLINE:

The Realm is a fantasy web series presented in two seasons (on the internet). The hope is to produce a feature (full-length) movie to complete the series. The series takes place in two worlds. One of magic (witches, wizards, warriors & monsters) and the other in 21st century America. The story depicts two young adults, each from a different world (Sorcha, the Realm and James, earth).

James, a web designer, was always the ‘loner’ content with his life. He is a kind, compassionate man, though hesitant towards developing a relationship with a woman. Sorcha has no past nor knows of her destiny to end a war between two factions of witches (Selene & Helios) in the Realm.

Sorcha ends up on James’ doorstep one night. James takes her in, but in trying to uncover her identity they are placed in the middle between this world and the Realm. Sorcha’s purpose is revealed when an assassin travels to earth attempting to take her life. Slowly, a deep relationship develops between James and Sorcha as the mysteries of their past are forever linked to their futures.

The Selene witches believe magic is for personal gain. The Helios witches believe in the purity of magic. The two leaders, Maedoc (Selene) and Melvina (Helios), continue the warring. Sorcha and James’s path will eventually take them to the Realm to create peace.
