The stage manager unwillingly involved in James’s show. Carries out whatever James needs done to keep their head above water – even if it’s a particularly unsavory job. Cares for Ana, and hopes that by continuing to keep doing what James tells them, they can eventually get out.
The director. Fixated on getting the perfect show, the perfect cast, the perfect crew. Authoritative, yet maintains affability until pushed. A looming presence over the cast and crew, should be intimidating, in a “something’s just slightly off” kind of way.
The most recent actor to join James’s show. An ingenue type in appearance, but carries herself very anxiously due to being trapped in the show. Talented, but clashes with James’s desire for perfection.
A costumer. Vocally uncomfortable with James’s process and unapproving of Chris carrying out James’s “replacements.”
A technician. New to the position, struggling to catch up to the workload he inherited.
An actress who’s not a part of James’s show…yet. Again, an ingenue, but without the weathering of being trapped against her will in a perfectionist nightmare.
M/F – nonspecific ages
Will be needed for audience members and cast and crew members. Fight choreography experience a plus.
