PLOT SUMMARY: Two best friends, who are also multi-millionaire business executives, pretend to be in love to give a very special woman her dying wish. However, actually falling for each other was never supposed to be part of the plan.
Elle Rose and Carter are best friends since childhood, being that Elle Rose’s grandmother practically raised them both. Long-time ladies’ man Carter is finally tying the knot and Elle Rose couldn’t be happier for her friend, especially considering the fact that after epic fails at love herself, she’s finally embarking on a new romance that holds much promise. However when Carter gets jilted at the altar by his bride because she learned of his scandalous past, and when Carter and Elle Rose find out that Grandma only has 2 weeks to live, Elle Rose and Carter decide to pretend be in love and engaged so that they can give Grandma her dying wish, which is to see them both settled down and married. However, actually falling for each other was never supposed to be part of the plan.

SHECRE – late 20s to mid-30s, African American. She’s Elle Rose’s best friend and the comedic relief character. She’s reminiscent of the girl who you can take out the hood, but you can’t quite get all the good out of her.
CHARLENE – late 20s to mid 30s, African American, attractive, fiancee of Carter. No nudity, no sex scenes. Must be comfortable with kiss scene
DON – early 30s to early 40s, African American male, attractive, well-spoken. He’s a neurosurgeon. He has just begun courting Elle Rose. No nudity, no sex scenes. Must be comfortable with kiss scene
MAMA ROSE – late 60s to late 70s, African American. Plays the grandma. No speaking lines. Must be comfortable with being put on a stretcher and rolled onto back of ambulance
REBEKAH – early to mid 20s, Caucasian female. Plays ELLE ROSE’S secretary in the office (only needed for one scene)
