AMY (lead, female, 20s, Caucasian)
Amy is generally fun-loving and easy-going, but she has a somber side, and has lived through some rough times. She is fiercely loyal to her few trusted friends. Her fiancé, David, has mostly earned her trust, but she is still coming to terms with her past and that has caused issues in their relationship. She is being swept into adulthood, but isn’t sure where that path will take her.
DAVID (lead, male, 20s, Caucasian)
David and Amy were dating for a couple years before he popped the question. They complement each other well. Where she can be excitable, he’s calm and patient. Where she is sometimes fearful, he is confident but not cocky. They’ve gone through some rough times, and there are issues they still have not fully resolved, but he is as devoted to her as someone could be.
WAITRESS (supporting, female, age – over 40)
The waitress is an enigmatic character and adds to the surreal feel of the film. With a few choice words and expressions, she helps Amy along on her confusing journey. (This role is only needed for 1 shooting day.)
