PLOT SUMMARY: “Mike”, aged 9 to 13, needs to be cared for because his parents are out of town overnight. He stays with his uncle, Uncle Ken, and his aunt Carol. Very early in the morning, Mike is awakened when Uncle Ken returns home drunk looking for some lost money and abusing his wife. Mike witnesses the abuse and is badly shaken.
The film is a coming of age story as well as a the realization of Mike’s father that he needs to stop enabling his brother, Ken, and help him and his sister-in-law.

– Will receive audition script at door. Actor will read the script during audition.
