PLOT SUMMARY: A teenage girl, Nicole, finds herself as an echo of who she was after an attempted suicide. When she is returned home by her case manager, her father wants nothing more than to restore the happiness that they once had. However, Nicole is wary of the past hidden from her, and she slowly begins to unravel how she’s been manipulated. Conflicting intentions between all involved form a rift between Nicole and her father, and the situation escalates: endangering their lives.

Nicole (Female, Caucasian, seeking ages 15-21): Once Lively and cheerful, Nicole has shrunk with herself since her mother’s death and father’s alcoholism. She wants to see her father happy once again, but she is wary of the secrets everyone hides from her. She suffers from a past of depression and a lack of self-worth.
Lester (Male, Caucasian, seeking ages 40-50): Nicole’s father, Lester, is emotionally unstable since losing his wife and daughter. He is trying to leave his history of alcoholism behind and wants nothing more than to return to the happiness he once had when Nicole was younger. He hides behind a pretense of strength, but is at his breaking point.
Claire (Female, any ethnicity, seeking ages 35-45): Nicole’s neuro-speciliast and case manager, who has been tasked with Nicole’s welfare and reintroduction to life with her father. Claire is firm in her convictions and intensely devoted to what she sets her heart upon. She cares deeply for Nicole but has difficulty expressing herself compassionately. Her intelligence grants her little tolerance for that which she considers foolish.
Ross (Male, any ethnicity, seeking ages 45+): Ross is the director of The Center for Neural Research, the organization under which Claire assists Nicole and Lester. Ross is quick to act and careful to consider regulations and the public appearance of the program. He wants what is best for all and is wiling to fix things himself if he must.
