MR. MCGREGOR

Mr. McGregor is a Scottish human gardener, who grows a big vegetable garden right nearby where Peter Rabbit lives. He grows the best tasting vegetables, but he’s also cranky, rude, angry and mean. He HATES rabbits because they love his vegetables. There’s only one way he like rabbits: Mrs. McGregor’s homemade rabbit pie! So WATCH OUT!! TWINKLEBERRY SQURRIEL

Twinkleberry Squirrel is Squirrel Nutkin’s brother, and the leader of the squirrels. Unlike Nutkin, Twinkleberry is polite and respectful. A hard worker and loyal friend.

OLD MR. BROWN

Nutkin, Twinkleberry, and all the other squirrels live in a wood at the edge of a lake. In the middle of the lake is an island covered with trees and nut bushes, and amongst those trees stands a hollow oak-tree, which is the house of an owl who is called Old Brown. Old Mr. Brown is kind enough to let the squirrels gather nuts on Owl Island, but he also has a bad temper. He hates riddles, and if you are rude to him for too long, he will lose his temper at you. LUCINDA & JANE

Lucinda and Jane are dolls who live together in a very beautiful dollhouse. Lucinda is the mistress of the house, but never orders meals. Jane is the Cook, but never does any cooking, because their dinner is always already made.

Mrs. Tiggy-winkle is a very short, stout person, always seen with a iron in her hand. Her print gown is tucked up, and she wears a large apron over her striped petticoat. Her little black nose goes sniffle, sniffle, snuffle, and her eyes go twinkle, twinkle. And underneath her cap, and all through her gown, she has PRICKLES! This is because she’s a hedgehog. Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle is the local washerwoman, meaning she does all the laundry for all the animals in the community. A cheerful, bubbly sort, she loves to sit down by the fire and enjoy a nice cup of tea.

Appears in certain parts of the play. Actor will need to dance or mime like an animal. Tons of lines. Singing role.

TABBY KITTEN, SALLY HENNY-PENNY, & COCK ROBIN

Jemima Puddle-Duck is a very silly duck. She is friendly, kind, and well-meaning, but is also naive, self-important, and silly. She isn’t the brightest duck in the world.

Mrs. Rebeccah Puddle-Duck is Jemima’s sister-in-law. She is much more practical and smart, and often gives advice to Jemima Puddle-Duck. Few lines. Non-singing role.

Looking for an animator to animate the stories for this film. I will supply the voice acting and storyboards. MUST work with either 2-D animation (the hand-drawn kind) to capture the spirit of the original book illustrations of Beatrix Potter.
