SYNOPSIS:

Based on the experiences of internationally renowned Ugandan playwright Adong Lucy Judith, the short film, Right Song, Wrong C(h)ord tells the story of an African woman’s search for visibility, dignity and respect. Her thesis film complete, graduate student Vivian Nimaro is ready to leave Philadelphia to return home to the warm embrace of Uganda. However, when she meets Chad Singer, and all her plans are changed. We share her journey through cross-cultural interracial understanding, grappling with the will to leave versus the irresistible allure of staying.
