LOGLINE:

Jenny Lee is a rising, yet unpopular star in the professional tennis world. After a mysterious accident brings her career to a halt, Jenny learns that her agent ran away with her money. Penniless and forgotten by her sport, Jenny tries to restart her career. Desperate to find financial support, she searches for her father who abandoned her when she was a child. She soon tracks down a man with a shady past who left a trail of family secrets. Her search for the truth about her father eventually leads her to uncover the mystery of her accident.

CASTING THESE ROLES:

Jenny Lee (lead, Asian, 20 to 30 years old). A tennis all-star, Jenny is well known for her acerbic wit and temper. A career-ending injury sends her life spiraling down. (Tennis skills not required.) Filming schedule for this role will be 5 weeks, 6-day/week.

Emily Lee (supporting, Asian, 45 to 65 years old). Emily is Jenny’s mother. A renown classical pianist and defender of traditional values, she disapproves of Jenny’s lifestyle and passion for her sport. Filming schedule for this role will be 4 consecutive days.

Alan Park (supporting, Asian, 30 to 40 years old). Alan is Jenny’s former manager. Behind his charming and educated front, Alan hides a cold and calculating personality. He will stop at nothing to make Jenny his partner in life and business. Filming schedule for this role will be 10 days over 6 weeks (some consecutive days).

Gerald Park (supporting, Asian, 55 to 65 years old). Gerald is Alan’s father, a sensitive man who lives with the pain of having lost a son. Filming schedule for this role will be 1 day.
