LOGLINE:

Melane Dumont, a sophisticated teenage girl is tasked to interview a person about an event that changed their life. She decides to talk to Martin Spurlock, a man who went through a tragic motorcycle accident in which both him and his daughter were killed. He was revived, but she was unable to be, causing him to spiral into a depression of solitude and regret. He lives all alone in his rather large house, as if he was Dracula himself. Melane and Martin discuss the accident, the relationship between a father and his daughter, and the ultimate question, where we go when we die.

CASTING THIS ROLE:

Martin Spurlock- A middle aged, hardened, and striking man. He barely leaves his home, and is permanently saddened after going through a motorcycle accident in which both him and his daughter died. Martin was revived, but his daughter was unable to be. He blames her death on himself, and lives in total solitude in his huge home. At one time he was a tall, handsome man. He maintained his muscular physic, but stopped taking care of himself in all other aspects, and is just counting down the days until his death. I could almost see him looking similar to Cabil Gibbs, the actor who played the thief in The Middleman last year.
