A couple drives out to the middle of nowhere for a peaceful trip away from the city when something unexpected happens to one of them. With no one around to help them, they are thrust into a descending spiral of survival.
CASTING THESE ROLES:
MICHAEL (24-28) grew up in the country, but now lives in a big
city. His father owns a ranch but no longer lives
there and asks his son to go check on something
locked in a shed. He brings his girlfriend with
him to make it a more romantic trip.
SARAH (23-26) is Michael’s girlfriend. She is a city girl, but is an
outdoors type of girl. She agrees to go on this
trip with him, but doesn’t realize how much of a
nightmare it is going to be. It is a
psychologically demanding role, as well as
physical. She should be at least able to physically
drag a body across 50 yards. We will be stopping
every few minutes, so there will be plenty of
pauses and rests in between the 50 yards.
CREW POSITIONS NEEDED:
SOUND TECHNICIAN with equipment if possible, if not we can figure
it out ahead of time.

The film is essentially dramatic, but there is a hint of absurdity and the bittersweet. So we welcome any creativity on the part of the actors.
